'Our Photostories' Workshop in Manjimup
The Shire of Manjimup Libraries. the Manjimup Photo Club and the Southern Forests Photography Club collaborated to host a two-part Our PhotoStories photography workshop with Astrid Volzke in Manjimup in April/May 2019.
Our PhotoStories workshop taught photography enthusiasts how to create a photo story using their cameras (from digital SLR cameras to smartphones). It focused on teaching different photography skills including portraiture, capturing action, wide-angle and close-up details. It also looked at editing and ordering photos into a visual story for maximum effect.
These two examples of the final photo stories - It's the little things and Potatoes - Pemberton Style are drawn from activities in our local area.
