The Shire of Manjimup and Manjimup Visitor Centre are hosting a special program for the 2021 Australian Heritage Festival.
For 40 years, the National Trust has connected the nation in its celebration of our heritage with the Australian Heritage Festival. This national program of events has become the country's largest festival that celebrates built, natural and cultural heritage.
This year will be the Heritage Park's biggest program for the festival yet. The program offers a range of special events including tours, blacksmith demonstrations and a special exhibition in the Round House.
The festival is running from 17 April to 19 May with the majority of events and opening times being on Wednesday's and Saturday's.
This year's festival is an opportunity to celebrate our Heritage Park and the insights it gives into our community and its rich heritage and history. Events held are for locals to learn more about their history and their Park, and for visitors to experience our collections and exhibitions first hand.
Being a part of a nationwide festival is a great opportunity, particularly in a time where we feel the need to be more connected with our community says Shire President Paul Omodei. Our heritage is rich and there's no better place than the Manjimup Heritage Park to share and tell the stories of our region.
