At the Ordinary Council Meeting held yesterday, 22 October 2015, Cr Wade DeCampo was re-elected unopposed as the Shire President.Cr Dean Bavich is once again the Deputy Shire President, also elected unopposed.The Shire President and Deputy positions are for a two year term, until October 2017.

Cr DeCampo expressed deep honour at having been elected unopposed for a further two years. "It is heartening for me to be re-elected unopposed as it shows the strength and unity of Council is better than ever, and I am extremely grateful to my fellow Councillors for giving me the opportunity to see some of the Shire's most significant initiatives through to reality," said Cr DeCampo.

A swearing in ceremony for newly elected Councillors was conducted by Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Campbell; Dean Bavich (North Ward), Verrell Herbert (West Ward), Lynn Daubney, Denise Jenkins and Robert Taylor (Central Ward).
