Freedom of Information
Documents and information covered by the Freedom of Information Act 1992 (the Act) include various items such as maps, plans, personnel records, client records, building files and correspondence. All documents received and generated by the Shire of Manjimup, are filed on the central records management system and are recorded on an electronic database.
The Act requires the Shire of Manjimup (as a prescribed agency) to publish an annual information statement.
To make a valid freedom of information application, you must submit an application form, including your name, address and phone number. Please ensure you include enough details on the form to enable the requested information to be identified. Most FOI applications incur a fee - please refer to the form for further information.
You may be required to pay other charges; ie: for photocopying. Please refer to the application form for more information. You will receive a quote should your application entail extra charges and at that point you will have the choice to accept the quote and continue your application, or withdraw your application.
Please contact the FOI Officer should you have any queries.
