Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

The Shire has been working with RAC and Synergy to bring electric vehicle charging to the region, we have both fast and rapid chargers within the Shire.

Synergy charging stations on the WA EV Network can be found in Manjimup and Walpole.
As of the 18 July 2023 Synergy will be charging an idle fee for vehicles left connected for an extended time.

RAC charging stations on the RAC Electric Highway can be found in the Pemberton townsite and at Karri Valley Resort.

Finding EV chargers
PlugShare is an open source tool that is free to use and lets EV drivers see information about most EV charging stations, along with details about charging speeds and plug types. PlugShare has a useful trip planning function that will show where various EV charging stations are located along your chosen route. You can download the PlugShare app from the app store.
