Antenno App Live
Media Release: Shire Launches Antenno App
June 2017
The Shire of Manjimup launched the mobile device App Antenno on 4th July.
Antenno is a local government specific app designed to provide residents, ratepayers, visitors and investors with up to date information and reminders about the things that affect them in the places they care about.
The Shire has launched the app in partnership with Datacom, one of Asia Pacific's leading IT based service providers and is the first local government in Australia to do so.
Manjimup Shire President Paul Omodei hopes the App will be embraced by the community as we move further into a mobile oriented world. "Antenno will provide an important link between the Shire of Manjimup and anyone with an interest in our region. The type of information being released includes Shire announcements, planned road closures or road works, upcoming Shire approved events, rubbish and recycling reminders and more" said Cr Omodei.
To celebrate Antenno's launch the Shire is holding a code word competition every Friday in July. Subscribers to Antenno can enter to win a hamper of local produce to the value of $275.00. There are four hampers to giveaway.
The Shire will be taking Antenno on the road with demonstrations in Manjimup, Pemberton, Northcliffe and Walpole from 18th July 2017. Staff will be on hand to assist participants to set up the app on their mobile device.
Antenno is free to use and available from the App Store or Google Play, and is totally anonymous. For further information visit the Antenno page.
