News and Notices
The Shire of Manjimup wishes to advise that following investigations by the Water Corporation, construction of the Brockman Street roof will recommence next week. The work to install the footings for the roof structure will be undertaken on Tuesday 5th March 2019.
To facilitate these works and clean up of the site, the following traffic control measures will be in place over the 5th and 6th of March;
- Parallel Parking bays will be significantly restricted on Tuesday 5 March. Traffic will however still be able to utilising Brockman Street except where directed to stop to allow the delivery and installation of the associated concrete and other materials. It is anticipated that the works will be completed within 6 hours, allowing the parking to be reopened in the afternoon;
- Road closures will be in effect during the morning on 6 March to facilitate the removal of excess material from the work site.
Please drive with caution while these site works are underway.
Following these works, the Shire will be endeavouring to reduce the amount of barricade fencing required and re-instate the normal angled parking as soon as possible.
