Celebrating Seniors Week 2017

Seniors Week 2017 is a special time of celebration for seniors in Western Australia and this year it will be commemorated from Sunday 29 October to Sunday 5 November. The Shire of Manjimup Home and Community Care will be celebrating WA Seniors Week on Tuesday 31 October to show appreciation for seniors valued contribution to society.

Shire President Paul Omodei encourages our seniors to come and enjoy a day out with friends. "It's a great opportunity for seniors to be acknowledged and valued for their influence and hard work toward making the Shire of Manjimup what it is today" he said.

All seniors are invited to join in a few hours of fun playing bowls and games with entertainment by local singers and dancers. The event will be held at the Manjimup Country Club on Perup Road from 10.00am - 2.00pm, with a free barbeque lunch, prizes and raffles. Free transport is available to and from Walpole, Northcliffe, Pemberton, Quinninup and Manjimup with bookings essential.
