Hogg and Matthews join Australian Cricket Tour
Brad Hogg and Greg Matthews will play in Manjimup as part of the Australian Cricketers' Association (ACA) Masters tour to the region from 27-29 October.
Jenny Wallace and Darren Wates have also been named to join the squad of 12, which will take on a local representative XI in a Twenty20 game on Friday 28 October at Collier Street Cricket Ground from 3:30pm. Entry is free.
45 years young, Brad Hogg continues to throw down his notoriously bamboozling spinners across multiple T20 competitions. Hogg, a crowd favourite, has 180 international wickets to his name and will join the Melbourne Renegades for BBL06.
Greg Matthews is one of the great characters of the game and one of Australia's greatest-ever off spinners. A handy all-rounder, Mo averaged an impressive 41.08 at Test level, claimed 118 wickets for his country and is the ACA Masters' leading all-time wicket taker.
Jenny Wallace stood behind the stumps for Western Australia for almost a decade and continues to ply her trade for the Perth Scorchers in the WBBL. A former Zoe Goss Medal winner, Wallace currently has 112 career dismissals and 1,902 runs to her name, with more to come in WBBL2.
A swing-bowling all-rounder, Darren Wates burst onto the domestic scene in 1999/2000 when he received the Mercantile Mutual Cup's Best New Talent award. Wates finished his career as a Warrior in 2008, taking 87 wickets and 814 runs with him.
