The ability to report issues, submit ideas and send feedback to the Shire of Manjimup just got easier through the mobile device app Antenno. Community members can now notify the Shire about issues such as potholes, dumped rubbish, stray animals, pollution and more.
The Shire has been using Datacom's Antenno app since July 2017 to send alerts and notifications to residents and visitors for events and services in their area and welcome the new update to the app which now includes a reporting feature.
"We welcome this new feedback tool are expecting the reporting function will be a popular and useful method for the community to easily advise us of issues, and will help us to deliver well maintained assets and efficient services", said Shire President Paul Omodei.
"It's much more convenient for people because they can report things when they find them, or take a photo and report later, they no longer need to find the right phone number or call into the Shire office or depot." he added.
Mark Matijevic, Director Local Government at Datacom said "We are excited to have achieved two-way communication for councils through the Antenno app, as we believe this to be a first in the local government space".
The reporting feature went live on Monday 7 May 2018, Antenno is free and you can download it from the App Store or Google Play. If you are already using Antenno to receive alerts and notifications simply install the update to access the reporting tool.
Reports sent through Antenno are received via email and will be actioned during normal office hours. For immediate service please call the Shire on 9771 7777 or for emergencies please contact emergency services.
