Windy Harbour Campground Temporary Closure

In line with Government directives the Shire has temporarily closed the Windy Harbour Campground effective immediately, this includes the associated ablution block.

The remaining ablution block will remain open and additional robust cleaning of this block will be occurring.

Shire officers are currently in the process of contacting customers in relation to the cancellation of their bookings.

The re-opening of the campground will be reviewed in accordance with Government direction.

"Whilst it is disappointing to be cancelling peoples holiday plans, we must abide by the recommendations and directives handed down through the Government in order to stop the spread of the Coronavirus" said the Shire President Paul Omodei.

"Our region has much to offer and we hope that you will still consider visiting our spectacular area when the pandemic is over".
