Batteries tumbling around inside steel collection trucks are likely to spark a fire - dangerous for the driver and the public and a waste of all your good recyclables. Don't put any sort of batteries in the yellow-lid bin!
Recycle vehicle batteries via your waste facility or a Men's Shed. Recycle smaller batteries at Shire libraries, AquaCentre, Shire Depot and some schools.
