Aged Care - Home Care Packages
Home Care Packages (HCP) are personalised programs designed to help seniors live happier and healthier lives at home.
If you’re over 65, or an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander over 50, you could be eligible. Funded by the Australian Government, Home Care Packages available in four levels. If you’re approved for a Home Care Package, much of the cost will be covered by your funding.
The government will pay these funds into your package for you to use as you like.
Package Level | Level of care needs |

Level 1 | Basic care needs – worth approximately $9,000 a year |
Level 2 | Low-level care needs – worth approximately $15,750 a year |
Level 3 | Intermediate care needs – worth approximately $34,250 a year |
Level 4 | High-level care needs – worth approximately $52,000 a year |
You will also need to contribute to the cost through:

Once you come on board with Manjimup Home & Community Care you’ll be introduced to your very own Coordinator. Your coordinator will get to know you and your goals, and will help you make the most out of your funding. Whether you’re focused on improving your home, health or happiness, our range of services covers all the essentials – plus a few more you might not have thought of!
Day Clubs and Activities
We run a range of clubs and activities at the Wellness & Respite Community Centre offering your loved one:

Dementia Care
Family carers can enjoy a short break, confident in the knowledge that their loved one is enjoying a wonderful time with caring, staff and friends, enjoying:

Domestic Assistance
We're here to help you around the house. Whatever the task, we have a skilled team who are up to the job:
- House cleaning

Home and Garden Maintenance
Our outdoors team will assist you or your loved one in maintaining the house and garden. We offer:
- Weeding
- Mowing
- Pruning
- Planting
- Irrigation setup
- Composting setup
Meals on Wheels
Our meals on wheels service make it possible for you or your loved one to stay home and relax. Let us come to you, offering:
- 2 - 3 courses (entree, main, dessert)
- Friendly volunteers
- Hot, delicious & nutritious meals
- Delivered to your door
Palliative Care
We work with you, your loved ones and your palliative care team to plan your end of life journey and provide assistance, support and holistic care. We offer:
- Family and loved one support
- Coping assistance
- End of life care at home
Personal Care
Personal care is a sensitive topic, which is why we offer bespoke services that are specific to you or your loved one's needs. These services include:
- Oral health
- Hair care
- Shaving
- Nursing
- Make-up & beauty
- Showering & dressing

Respite
Our respite services are there so carers can take a breather whenever they need.
