Manjimup Heritage Park Management and Development Plan
The Shire is seeking input into the Manjimup Heritage Park Management and Development Plan. The plan is a strategic document which guides the future of the park. The previous plan was finalised in 2006 and was an integral document in guiding all the works completed as part of the Manjimup Town Centre Revitalisation project (Heritage Park component).
The consultation for the 2021 revision is essential to understanding what the community thinks, feels and experiences in the park, and most importantly captures the community's aspirations for the park. Aspirations can include anything from promotions, tourism, activities, events, activation, exhibitions, displays and more.
The consultation for the plan includes a number of public forums as well as stakeholder focus groups and a public survey. The Shire wishes to capture as much feedback as possible from our community; from criticisms to praises, from ideas to offers. The park is a community asset owned by the community and this plan is the central document to ensuring the future of the park reflects our community.
If you want a say in the future of the Manjimup Heritage Park, attend one of the following forums at the Round House:
- The Park as a Community Resource - 5:30pm Wednesday 26 May 2021
- The Park as Our Cultural Heritage - 5:30pm Monday 31 May 2021
- There will also be an online survey to complete which will open on 26 May 2021.

"The Heritage Park is a premier cultural precinct and the central community space for Manjimup and our surrounding towns. Ensuring residents have their say in the future of the this asset is essential in helping the Shire maintain the park as something the community is proud of" said Shire President Paul Omodei.
