Pet Registration Reminder for Residents
Residents in the Shire of Manjimup are being urged to check that their pet registrations and details are up to date, with renewals due by the end of October. Registration renewals are currently being processed and residents should begin receiving them during the first few weeks of October. If you do not receive your renewal by the middle of October, please contact us on 9771 7777.
All dogs three months of age and over must be registered and microchipped. All cats six months of age and over must be registered, sterilised and microchipped.
Pets can be registered in the Shire of Manjimup for life, three years or one year, with many residents choosing the life-time registration option, which saves time and costs associated with annual renewals.
For updating any details applicable to your pet's registration download the Animal Maintenance Form from the Shire of Manjimup website.
"Whilst registering your pet is a legal requirement, keeping your pet’s registration current and up to date ensures you can be contacted to make arrangements for the safe return of your animal should it be lost or wandering” commented Shire President Paul Omodei.
