All smiles for Pemberton

Permanent speed indicator devices have been installed on the Pemberton Main Street as part of the Shires on-going commitment to road traffic and pedestrian safety. In early 2022, the speed limit on Brockman Street, Pemberton was reduced from 50kmlhr to 40km/hr. In July & August 2022, the Shire trialled speed indicator devices over an eight week period which lead to increased awareness of drivers and lower speeds through the main street of Pemberton. Following the success of the trial a commitment was made by Council to fund the devices for permanent installation. A welcome addition to our streetscape.
