New Chief Executive Officer Appointed

The Shire of Manjimup is pleased to announce it will welcome Ben Rose as the new Chief Executive Officer.

Ben brings substantial experience to the Shire of Manjimup from across Government and the private sector, with previous executive roles in both regional and metropolitan WA. Ben is presently the Chief Executive Officer with the Shire of Donnybrook Balingup, having served in that role for the past seven years.

Following a comprehensive and competitive recruitment process which saw over 30 applicants, the Council voted unanimously in favour of the appointment, acknowledging Mr Rose’s blend of experience, qualifications and understanding of opportunities and challenges for the district.

Mr Rose advised he was “eager to commence in the role to partner with the Council, the community and Shire staff to deliver the strategic objectives set out by the Council”.

Shire President Paul Omodei said “Council and I are pleased to welcome Ben to the Shire of Manjimup. We strongly believe in his ability to deliver the strategic objectives of Council in the best interests of the community and in managing a proud, confident and efficient workforce in line the Shire’s values.”

Mr Rose will commence as the Chief Executive Officer on 27 November 2023.
