The Shire of Manjimup is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Giadresco
to the role of Director Development Services. Development Services includes all
aspects of planning, building, environmental health and sustainability as well
as the management of ranger and emergency services.
Jason is a longstanding employee of the Shire of Manjimup, having been
employed at the Shire for over 11 years. Prior to taking on this role, Jason has
held the positions of Senior Governance Officer and Coordinator of Planning. Having
been Acting Director Development Services for six months prior to this
appointment, the transition has been seamless.
Shire staff and Councillors welcome Jason into the executive team at
the Shire. Shire President, Donelle Buegge commented “we are thrilled to
announce the appointment of Mr Giadresco as Director Development Services. Jason
brings a fresh commitment to his position, and I wish him every success.”
His background and qualifications include Sustainable Development,
Project Management and Business Administration, giving Jason essential skills
and knowledge for the role. As a valued and respected member of the community,
Jason brings to the role a balance of qualifications, experience, local
knowledge and a great attitude.

looking forward to driving positive change, both within the organisation and
within the community which the Shire serves,” said Jason.
Jason has excellence knowledge of local government governance,
legislation and process; and has a strong commitment to a customer focused
approach to problem solving. Jason’s approach to organisational change and
leadership is well informed and comprehensive. One of his goals in taking on
this position is working to assist the community in better understanding
planning, building and health regulations.
