The Shire of Manjimup holds a general meeting for the electors of the district once every year, as per the requirements of the Local Government Act 1995. The matters to be discussed at the Annual Electors Meeting are first and foremost, the contents of the annual report for the previous financial year and secondly, any other general business.
The Annual Electors Meeting must be held not more than 56 days after the Council resolves to accept the annual report for the previous financial year. Any decisions made at the meeting are to be considered at the next ordinary Council meeting.
