Recreation Plaza

Over the past decade the Shire has installed fixed concrete skate parks in Northcliffe, Pemberton and Walpole. During that period a strong commitment was given to the Manjimup community that, once the other skate precincts had been completed, Council would focus on the development of a park in Manjimup.

The Shire of Manjimup Youth Strategic Plan 2013-2023 identified the need for youth-friendly spaces across the Shire. In response to the above and to cater for the needs of Manjimup youth, the Shire has embarked on a project to develop and construct a new multi-purpose youth recreation plaza. The aim of this project was to create an area which is family-friendly and provides a multi-purpose facility including a skateboard, scooter, BMX freestyle and inline skate plaza.
