Walpole Town Activation Advisory Committee

The Shire of Manjimup is calling for nominations from interested community members and/or community groups for membership of the Walpole Town Activation Advisory Committee, being a Shire of Manjimup Advisory Committee. In accordance with the adopted Terms of Reference, the Committee meets biannually with the following functions:

• Identification of opportunities for space activation within Walpole Townsite;
• Liaison with other relevant community groups and/or service agencies over potential art or cultural projects;
• Assisting the Shire of Manjimup's Officers in drafting design guidelines to guide future developments within the Town Centre Precinct;
• Assist co-ordinating community participation;
• Communicate and inform the local community about activities of the Committee; and
• Provide advice on Tourism and Marketing Campaigns relating to the Walpole Community.

To nominate as a representative of the Committee, nominees are requested to forward a submission giving your details, experience and interest in joining the Committee to the Shire of Manjimup by 5pm on Friday 13 December 2024.
